Reminder that due to High School Parent-Teacher Interviews being held today, ALL students are dismissed at 1:30pm.

Gr 10 Literacy Test Prep After School Sessions

Is your child in Grade 10 writing the Grade 10 OSSLT Literacy Test this year? Are you looking for ways to support your child with this?
Please consider signing your son/daughter up for our After School Literacy Test Prep Sessions. These free sessions run every Wednesday with 
Ms. Sinclair from 2:45-4:15 pm until Wednesday, April 4th. If interested, students can go to Room C403 next Wednesday at 2:45 pm for more information and registration forms.

Parent Information Evening on Tuesday, February 27th, 2018. See the outline below for session times depending on whether your child is in Grades 7/8 or in high school. 

6:00 pm - Welcome and Introduction from Administration in the Learning Commons (second floor)

Grades 7/8 Report Cards - Thurs, Feb 15

Students in Grade 7/8 will be receiving their report cards today. Parent-Teacher Interviews will be held next Thursday, February 22nd. 

Gr 7-8 Parent-Teacher Interviews - Thurs, Feb 22

We will be holding Parent-Teacher Interviews for the parents of Grades 7 and 8 students at the school on Thursday, February 22nd from 2:00 - 4:30 pm and 5:30 - 7:00 pm.  If you wish to schedule a meeting with any of your child's teachers, please follow the instructions outlined below to book online. 

You will be able to book appointments from February 15th at 6:00 pm until February 20th at 11:00 pm. 


1. Prepare a list with the names of each teacher you would like to meet

2. Go to the Immaculata scheduling webpage at https://ihs.parentinterview.com

3. Enter the Parent Code (provided in an email shared with you on Feb 15 at 6pm OR by hard copy given to your child) and click "Sign In"

     Please make a note of your Confirmation #

4. Fill in your contact information and click "Continue to Make Appointments"

5. Click on the name of a teacher with whom you wish to schedule an appointment

6. Click on "Available" for a time at which you wish to meet to have your meeting

7. Repeat Steps 4 and 5 until you have scheduled all the teachers you wish to meet

8. Click on "My Schedule" (top left of the page)

9. Print out, email or copy down your schedule and bring it with you


Should you wish to delete an appointment you have made, click on "Delete" beside the meeting you wish to have removed from your schedule. 

If you misplace your schedule, you may use your Confirmation # to retrieve your schedule from the website at any time. If you need help using the service, please email support@parentinterview.com 

If you do not have access to the internet at home or in the workplace, please call the Main Office during school operating hours or parentInterview toll-free at 1-866-810-0076, and someone will be happy to make your appointments with you.

Transportation Cancelled Today - Tues, Jan 23

All buses & vans are cancelled for today,
 Tuesday January 23, 2018 due to icy road conditions. SCHOOLS ARE OPEN - parents are responsible for transportation of students attending schools and for pick up at end of day at 2:30 pm.

High School Exam Schedule - January 2018

THURSDAY, JANUARY 25 - Day 1 Period 1 Exam
FRIDAY, JANUARY 26 - Day 1 Period 2 Exam
MONDAY, JANUARY 29 - Day 1 Period 3 Exam
TUESDAY, JANUARY 30 - Day 1 Period 4 Exam

Snow Days and the Exam Schedule:
In the event of a snow day during the high school exam period, exam schedules at all schools for all students will be affected (not just for school bus riders).  

In the event of a “snow day” where yellow school bus transportation is cancelled during the high school exam period, the missed exam will be written the following day.  
All other exams will be bumped by one day and the last exam, scheduled for Tuesday, January 30th will be written on Thursday, February 1st.    
*During a snow day, the school will be open, but exams will not be written.
Wednesday, January 31st remains a PD day whether or not there is a snow day during exam week.

For example, if January 26th is a snow day and all school bus transportation for our board is cancelled, then:
All exams originally scheduled for January 26th will be written on January 29th.
All exams originally scheduled for January 29th will be written on January 30th.
All exams originally scheduled for January 30th will be written on February 1st.
January 31st remains a PD Day.
