PATHWAYS – Learn about Academic, Applied, Locally Developed, University, College, and Workplace levels of study as well as our Information and Communications Technology & Environmental SHSMs offered. ACADEMIC SUPPORTS – Speak with our Student Success Teacher about the many different supports available for students needing extra help with their studies. COOPERATIVE EDUCATION – Hear first hand from students about their co-op experiences. FRENCH LANGUAGE – Learn about opportunities for students through the Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFRL) and the grade 12 DELF testing, as well as an experiential learning trip to Europe for students. INDIGENOUS EDUCATION – Hear about Immaculata’s efforts toward reconciliation and some of our unique programming in Grade 11 English and Indigenous Studies classes. CARING FOR OTHERS FOCUS PROGRAM – Dialogue with students about their unique experience in this focus program and how community partnerships have inspired them. AFTER SCHOOL MUSIC PROGRAM (BAND) – Hear about how students participate in our school’s band and work toward extra credit after school. COMPUTER PROGRAMMING & ENGINEERING – Learn about the opportunities our students have in programming & engineering classes including robotics, circuit building and a popular app development project with Corpus Christi Elementary School. CREATIVE ARTS - In the Arts, students learn by doing. Find out about the Art, Dance, Drama, Music and Photography programs available at Immaculata. HOSPITALITY – Hands-on learning in Hospitality class has become extremely popular with students and staff who get to sample many of the tasty treats produced! Hear more about this creative learning. ATHLETICS – Hear from students on our Athletic Council about all the interesting opportunities available for students interested in athletics. FIRE – Be inspired by the FIRE group at Immaculata, a group of young men who, through fellowship and the gift of the Holy Spirit, strive to live a life on fire and fan the flames of others. DREAM TEAM – Speak with students about their experience participating in our school’s service trip to the Dominican Republic and the valuable learning this opportunity has brought them. MARINE BIOLOGY TRIP – Come find out about the marine biology trip to the Huntsman Marine Science Centre in St. Andrew’s, New Brunswick. This popular trip gives students an excellent hands-on experience at the Bay of Fundy. |
